Modal is "the rate"
Each row is one commodity in one yard for the day. Min and Max are the day's range across lots; Modal is the rate most grain actually traded at. When someone at the yard says "the rate", they mean the modal. All figures are ₹ per quintal — 100 kg.
A thin board at 9am is normal
The government feed rebuilds every morning and yards report as auctions conclude, so check again after noon. Outside harvest months some yards will not report for days at a time — that is the crop calendar, not a fault.
The trend is recorded, never invented
